Whiting Silver Grade Rooster Saddle in Grizzly B, so how many flies do you recon saddle B will tie? These Silver Grade Saddles are so consistent in density of hackle, the outlay is high but once bought you have lots of options like a little home dying a range of colours!! Each hackle will tie a few dozen flies so the cost per fly becomes very low. Look at it this way Whiting 100 packs are 6 hackles so how many packs could you get out of this saddle, if you dyed 6 colours the saddle starts to look very cheap!! So Saddle B as hackles that are around the 18” (46cm) mark and will tie flies in the 12/14 size range and a few either side!!
