Its lightweight yet durable design has been carefully crafted to blend performance, fishability, and long term reliability into a stylish large arbour design. Size dependent the reels benefit from both open or closed frame designs. Open frame is utilised on sizes where weight reduction and rapid spool changes are essential and a closed frame is employed on both the 5000 EN and 9000 models where thin running lines or specialist euronymph lines may be used. For over 150 years Hardy has been at the forefront of reel design and this newest addition is built to the same exacting standards and passion for innovation.
