Epic Evening Rises

The warm weather is having a big impact on fishing at the moment. Daytime fishing has really slowed down and salmon fishing is very tough. However the evening rise at the moment is epic! The warm sunny weather has brought up water temperatures ensuring some amazing hatches during the evenings.  The past few evenings have had rises of fish which have not been seen for years on the river Suir. Many anglers thought that these large rises of fish had disappeared and were a thing of the past.  However it seems that in the past few summers we had very little warm weather, therefore very poor hatches of fly. Rain is needed soon to bring in some fresh water, but lets enjoy this great dry fly fishing while it lasts! [gallery link="file" columns="6"]
